Copying Email Content to ConvertKit (New Editor)
Copying your email content from Campaign Donut into ConvertKit is very straightforward.
There are two different ways to copy your email over.
One method is simple copy and paste and is sufficient for almost all instances.
The other method is to use the HTML Code View and this method is preferred if you've made any manual stylings in the HTML Code View.
Simple Copy and Paste of the Text
- In Campaign Donut, highlight and copy the text you want to copy into ConvertKit
- Inside the ConvertKit Editor, paste the content you copied
- Review the pasted content to for accurate styling
Copying and Pasting HTML Code
ConvertKit's editor utilizes block elements and include a widget for HTML. You can copy the HTML code from Campaign Donut's Code View and paste it into ConvertKit's HTML block.
This method is recommended only if you've made any special customizations in the HTML of the Email Broadcast.
- Copy the Email Broadcast content via Code View
- In ConvertKit, add an HTML widget
- Paste the code you copied into the HTML widget
- Click Preview to see how your content will appear when sent
